Welcome! The Performance Studies Focus Group (PSFG) at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE) invites you to REVOLUTION IN FOUR ACTS, the 2018 PSFG Pre-Conference.
REVOLUTION IN FOUR ACTS engages Boston, revolution, and performance through a series of events: a queer cabaret and social event co-hosted with the LBGTQ Focus Group, a tour and discussion inside the Institute for Contemporary Art, a lunch session on advocacy and activism in the job market, and a session on radical pedagogy.
Newly confirmed speakers include: Ellen Tani, Assistant Curator at the ICA, Patricia Ybarra ATHE President 2015-2017 (Brown), and academic labor activists Angelica Pinna-Perez (Lesley), Anne Fleche (Northeastern), and Sheridan Thomas (Tufts).
REVOLUTION IN FOUR ACTS is curated by Michelle Liu Carriger, Krista Miranda, Jessi Piggott, and Gwyneth Shanks.
